The day I fell in love with Brioche

My first bread roll attempt in Basic class was not too good so I was nervous about making Brioche.

We made the Brioche on the Kitchenaid. It’s almost impossible to make by hand because it has tonnes of butter to incorporate. Unless you want a 45 minutes upper body workout or wish to eat the whole brioche on your own (so lose some calories first), then by all means make it by hand.

I made tete (the one with a head), nantes (the loaf), a walnut and a chocolate. I fell in love with them when I started slicing and they smell so good. So buttery, so soft, so fragrant and with a crust so crisp and light. Even after 2 days, it was still soft and good. Normally, bread with no preservatives and chemicals will go hard in a day or two but not these. Full of buttery goodness…
