A beautiful bride and her groom asked me to make a luggage themed cake for them. Being from different countries, they must have liked traveling or met each other on their travels? It was such a joy making this cake – the couple was very very polite and they had a great theme!
Prince Credan’s first birthday comes in a royal blue theme – a little crown, napkins and a cake to match! Kids these days are lucky, I don’t remember having a birthday party when I was little. Hmm, maybe I will make a huge castle for my little one in future. How about a castle big enough for a kid to walk through and she can lick some cream on the way. Or a model of Disneyland and light some sparklers to simulate fireworks? And get Prince Credan to welcome the princess!
Can I present to you Ichigo Cake – fresh strawberry and macadamia nuts sandwiched between fresh cream and japanese sponge cake. This birthday version came with meringue ‘castle spikes’.

A wedding cake can be a great gift – looks great on the table and serves as a lovely dessert. I love wedding cakes with fresh flowers. They are amazingly elegant and timeless.
This wedding cake was commissioned as a gift and at that time I was only given a pink theme to work with. Surprisingly, it turned out that the flowers on the cake matched those of the bridesmaids:) The cake has a first tier with lychee martini sponge cake and the second tier of lemon sponge cake. It has a fresh cream covering which taste better than fondant but is only suitable for air conditioned environment or for a short period outdoors.

This lovely cake was made for a 21st birthday celebration. Moist and rich chocolate cake with chocolate ganache frosting covered with fondant icing. Decorated with real satin ribbons for a luxe touch. Holds well in shaded outdoors.
